Room to Grow
As you can see from above, we bought a real high chair. Considering he barley fits in his bumpo seat with the tray on it. The Dr was right when I was warned this was not going to be a petite child. He had his 4 mo check up last week and he is already 16 lbs just over 25 in and his head is 75cm yes I double checked when the DR said it to make sure. He is in the 80th percentile and per the DR will be a football player at this rate. We have already adjusted the straps on his carrier to the top row and his feet are on the verge of dangling over the side. I think we wil be buying a new carseat soon

Manna from Heaven
Well, not quite. Today his pediatrician said food was now on the menu, at least starting with rice cereal. He wasn't sure what to think of it... We thought he would be like "it's about time" since every time we eat at home or go out to eat, if he is sound a sleep he will wake up just as the plate hits the table. Then he would just stare and look at you with the "what about me/where's mine" kind of look on his face...Next week veggies... yumm!!

Get Your Rear in Gear 5K run/walk
So earlier last month a heard a blurp on the radio about a fun run in support of Colon Cancer Research an Awareness after that never heard anymore about it. I went online to google the website and signed us up. This is the 1st year it was in Raleigh. Lets face the facts I am not running so we walked. It was lots of fun and there was a great turn out over 600 people showed up.
I figured between mom and Uncle Richard, this has effected our family two times too many and time to get moving. They hold these all over the country and the events are starting to grow, but you just don't hear about them like you do the breast cancer walks.
Here's the web site... http://www.getyourrearingear.com/ If there is one near you I encourage everyone to participate, and if not atleast donate (can do so online).
Today's agenda:
4Am wake up, jump in shower get ready to go
5Am leave the house program Karen to lead the way
615AM get there early, Karen finds IHOP (good job!!)
720AM pick up registration

We walked in honor of Mom and in memory of Uncle Richard

not sure if happy to be awake just yet
