Dressed in White

I know we had him blessed last month, we got pictures of him with family in his whites, but none of just him..... So that was this morning's project. I was changing his clothes anyway... look how happy he is :) The blanket was made by Grandma Helen (finnished by mom)

A boy and his frog

Found the Frog at JoAnne Fabrics and couldn't resist! He does not yet sit up on his own, but leans really well before tipping to one side.

Mountains Majesty?

OK, now for all of you that have lived out west, we know what a mountain looks like. Well the other day Kevin had a day off during the week and we decided to take in some of the sites of NC. We do boarder the Smokey an Appalachian Mtns., however we are too far for a day trip. On the NC map are a bunch of "mountains", and I use that word loosely. The road to the "mountain" was closed because of snow earlier the week. We went to took a picture of the "mountain" but could not see it over the tree... long story short, largest hill in the area. Anyhow, the park did have some hiking trails, so off we went over the creek and through the woods. we soon realized we are way out of shape!

Round and Round we go

OK, the visious cycle has began. It all started with Ethan and his runny nose, the constant sneezing and the caughing. That's right, he has been sick. Just as the he was getting over it, mom and dad get sick and then back to him. So today's project was taking the lysol wipes and spray and going around the house to nip it in the bud

Snow Day!!

Hello everyone. Well, we got a snow day. The base closed down and the snow piled up. Officially at the airport Fayetteville received 4 inches, but I think we got a little bit more here on base, or at least our patio table looks like we did.....

Here is our front yard

And our back yard. Who's up for a BBQ?
The lines in the picture is from the screen on the window. Yest I took it from inside looking out. Don't judge me, it's cold outside, besides the box that has the Christmas tree and ornaments are blocking the back door, it was late last night when we took it down. (yes we just took down our Christmas ornaments, I know, I know)

Mom and Ethan (this is his 1st snow day)

Dad and Ethan in the snow. It was coming down pretty hard, bit seems as it he has finally stopped. There are some people that built a fort of snow in their from yard down the street. We are thinking of attempting a snowman.

Out to the park

Our 1st trip down the slide...Oh the excitement, can't you just see it on his face?

He just LOVES his dad....

Playing with Mom (dad took the picture before mom could get a smile in)

Look at the big ol' grin!! He is such a happy child, don't you just want to eat him up, I know I'm a little bias, but who cares Look at the cute boy we have and don't you just love that SMILE

Rub a dub dub

Naked boy

Naked boy in a tub! Eathan LOVES bath time. His hair just curles right up when it is wet. No matter how we try his left leg is always hanging over the edge, so we gave up. I think every child needs to have a naked bath picture hidden in their scrap book.

Just add water (or formula)

Today Ethan went in for his two month check up and he is already 11 lbs 11 oz and 22 inches long. According to the DR he is healthy and strong. The snotty nose that wont go away is normal. It's amazing how he no longer looks like the picture at the top of the blog. He is begining to look more and more like his dad.... He is just changing sooooo much and I just can't keep up!

A name and a blessing

Today we blessed Ethan.. He did really well. He seemed to be having a conversation with someone, but he did not screem or cry.
